Storebought tomato soup is usually way too sweet. We like this substitute.
15 oz can tomato sauce
1/2 cup whipping cream
3/4 tsp brown sugar
1/8 tsp salt
sprinkle of ground pepper
Whisk together in a pot on medium heat until heated through. Don't boil. Serve. Can add 1/2 tsp italian seasoning if desired.
